Iranian authorities have burned down the prison in the City of Abadan after the prison witnessed protests by prisoners against the authorities' negligence in treating patients and fear of an outbreak of Covid-19 in the prison.
Iranian intelligence which dominates the guard and prison directorate, sent hundreds of its armed elements inside the prison to control the situation until clashes took place between prisoners and the Intelligence Service armed forces.
According to our sources from the City of Abadan, Iranian intelligence fired live bullets targeting prisoners directly and mercilessly, killing more than 20 prisoners and injuring dozens of cases, some of them described as critical.
Although the relatives of the prisoners have tried to check on their beloved ones, however Iranian intelligence is preventing entry or approach to the prison.
The Iranian authorities transferred the dead and wounded secretly to hide the crime.
Worth to mention this situation in Abadan's prison is similar to what happened in Sepidar and sheiban prisons a few days ago.
According to the organization sources, Iranian intelligence transferred all political prisoners from Sepidar, Sheiban and Abadan central prisons to its secret prisons and punished them with the most severe forms of physical and psychological torture, accusing them of triggering the protests inside the prison.
