Reliable Ahwazi sources announced that the Iranian security and intelligence forces on 12.02.2020, raided the home of the Ahwazi cultural activist Naji Al-Haidari bin Tumah, located in Al-Mash’ali neighborhood, east of Ahwaz the capital.

Mr. Naji Al-Haidari was arrested during this raid without knowing the reasons behind the arrest. He was transferred to one of the secret prisons of the Iranian Central Intelligence in Ahwaz the capital.

Naji Al-Haidari was previously arrested by the Iranian intelligence forces but he was released due to the lack of evidences.

International humanitarian laws provide the accused to be informed at the time of his arrest, the reasons for his arrest and the place he is being taking to, not to mention the compensation of the detainee for the period of his arrest or imprisonment in case of absence of conclusive proof of the arrest.
