Press Statement Issued by the Alahwazi Organization for Human Rights (A.O.H.R)

The Alahwazi Organization for Human Rights (A.O.H.R) expresses its condemnation in the strongest possible terms and with the utmost severity of the heinous crime and

brutal massacre committed by the Iranian authorities through the systematic targeting of the "Al-Shajara al-Tayyiba" school in the city of Minab on the morning of

Saturday, February 28, 2026. This criminal act reflects the depravity of the strategy adopted by the regime amidst its current conflict with the United States and Israel.

This treacherous act, which claimed the lives of dozens of innocent young students, is nothing but a desperate and despicable attempt by Tehran to play the role of the

victim and solicit international public sympathy by trafficking in the blood of its own children. Our organization’s field sources confirm beyond a shadow of doubt that this

operation was meticulously orchestrated; investigations revealed that the daughters and sons of Revolutionary Guard leaders and intelligence officers were not present

among the students at the time of the targeting. Their families had been forewarned of the danger and were safely withdrawn, proving that the regime sacrificed these

children as human shields and media offerings to serve its narrow political agenda. The A.O.H.R emphasizes that this crime is not an isolated incident in the regime's

bloody record but rather an extension of a series of "staged" atrocities carried out to advance its agendas—ranging from the 1994 bombing of the Imam Reza Shrine in

Mashhad to the bombing of the Al-Askari Shrines in Samarra. These are crimes committed in cold blood to incite sectarian strife, mobilize public emotion, distract from

internal crises and political failures, and attempt to brand its opponents as terrorists before the international community. As the Alahwazi Organization for Human Rights

exposes the falsehood of the Iranian narrative and the direct involvement of the authorities in spilling the blood of children in Minab, we hold the Iranian leadership fully

criminally and morally responsible for these criminal policies that cross all international red lines. We call upon the international community to launch an immediate

investigation into the circumstances surrounding the absence of officials' children from the site of the incident, which serves as conclusive evidence of the premeditated

nature of this massacre. The blood of these innocents will not be a tool to polish the image of a regime that kills its own people to survive; disgrace will forever haunt

those who planned and executed this heinous crime.
