On April 14th Iranian authorities burned sugar cane plantations located in the city of Ma’shour in an attempt to remove the concrete evidence of the Ma’shur massacre, in which IRGC killed more than 150 Ahwazis.

In spite of the authorities' attempt to remove these evidences in secret, taking advantage of the situation of the home quarantine due to the Covid-19 epidemic, a number of passing citizens were able to document these fires and send them to activists concerned with human rights.

And international humanitarian organizations - governmental and non-governmental - have issued a strong condemnation of the Iranian authorities for committing this massacre against Ahwazi citizens, as they put some of the leaders of the Revolutionary Guard on the black list of violators of human rights.

The city of Mashour along with many cities in Al-Ahwaz and other Iranian provinces in November last year witnessed peaceful protests shortly after the announcement that the authorities have increased fuel prices to 3 times.
In what named "November protests", Iranian regime killed hundreds of citizens and arrested thousands of people and the fate of most of them is still unknown.
